NEW MEMBER SUNDAY - St. Paul's will receive new members into our church family on Sunday, March 7. If you are interested, please indicate your desire on the attendance sheet with name, address and phone number or contact the church office.
HEALTH KITS FOR HAITI - Our Sunday School children are participating in the preparation of health kits for Haiti through February. If members of our congregation are interested in participating in this mission, information is located on the narthex table.
MARCH MISSIONS PROJECT - E.S.C.A.P.E. Ministries E.S.C.A.P.E. Ministries was founded by local area churches to provide an organized and helpful response to those in need of emergency services. E.S.C.A.P.E. provides assistance for things like heating oil, utilities, rent, and other essential needs. Please search your hearts and if this is a cause you would like to support, please make your checks payable to St. Paul's, memo'd E.S.C.A.P.E.
CORNED BEEF/ROAST BEEF/CABBAGE DINNER - The U.M. Men and the In-Reach Committee will have their Annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner on Thursday, 18 March from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the Social Hall. Roast beef will also be served. Ticket prices are $8.00 for Adults and $6.00 for Children and Seniors. Come and join us for a wonderful evening of fellowship, food, and fun!
BIBLE BABEL- Author, Kristin Swenson, will discuss her book, 'Bible Babel: Making Sense of the Most Talked About Book of All Time' on Sunday, 14 March at 6:30 PM in the Social Hall. Readers of her book will know everything from the origins of the Christian fish symbol to why the film 'Magnolia' ends in a downpour of frogs. A portion of the proceeds received from the purchase of this book will go to the upcoming Missions Trip. Please contact Debbie Scheller (410-781-6469) for further information.
MISSIONS COMMITTEE MEETING - Will meet on Sunday, 14 March after worship service in the Cry Room. Thank you for taking time to attend this meeting.
LOOKING FOR HELP? - The Missions Committees of Gaither and St. Paul's and the In-Reach Committee at St. Paul's have pooled their resources to help members of our churches with various household projects from raking leaves and cleaning gutters to turning mattresses and light cleaning. The pastors have suggested some households for the group to contact. If you or someone you know needs help, please contact Carmella Evans, Melissa Moore, Julie Shacochis, or the Church Office for information and details.
MAGAZINES NEEDED - Magazines are needed for Carroll Hospital Center patients. If you would like to donate magazines for this cause, please drop them in the box in the church foyer or in the box under the narthex table. Thanks for your support!
2010 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - Will take place 12-16 July from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Come experience Joseph's incredible faith journey from prison to palace, right alongside Joseph himself. Volunteers may contact Charlene Williams at 410-795-8078 or charw5@comcast.net. VBS registration will take place on Sunday, 25 April at the Coffee Hour. VBS is a great way to serve Him and have fun too!
2010 SUMMER CAMP - Information regarding UMC-sponsored summer camps is available on the narthex table for your convenience.
UPPER ROOMS - The March/April edition of the Upper Room is now available on the narthex table.
NURSERY HELPERS - Nursery helpers are needed to care for our little ones during worship service. If you can assist in some small way, please contact Brandy Hagen (410-795-9767) or Karen Creutzer (410-781-0134).
CHURCH LIGHTS - When using the Church facilities, PLEASE be mindful of the increase in electric rates by making sure ALL LIGHTS are turned OFF before you leave. THIS INCLUDES ALL RESTROOMS. We want to be good stewards of what God has given us. Thank you!
