AUGUST MISSIONS PROJECT - Our missions project for August will be 'Nothing But Nets' (UMCOR Advance Project 982015). Every 30 seconds, one person dies from Malaria; 85% are children. For $10, 'Nothing But Nets' provides an insecticide-treated bed net which protects the sleeper and kills the mosquitoes before they can infect others. The situation is critical! Please open your heart and help. Checks should be made payable to St. Paul's, memo'd UMCOR ADV #982015).
BW CONFERENCE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY - Brochures are located on the narthex table regarding classes for the BW Conference Discipleship Academy.
CHOIR - Choir practice begins on Wednesday, September 3. Robes may be picked up at 7:15 PM followed by fellowship in the Cry Room. See you there!
CHERUB CHOIR - Cherub Choir practice begins on Sunday, 14 September. Practice begins at 10:20 AM and last until 10:40, and takes place in the 2nd Grade Sunday School room. All kids ages 4 through 1st Grade are welcomed.
NEW ALTAR FLOWER PRICES - Beginning August 1, 2008, our florist has found it necessary to increase prices due to the rising costs of fuel and products. Therefore, some prices for flowers have increased and will be as follows: Altar Vases - $15.00 each, $30.00 total; Piano/Organ Vases - $20.00; and Bud Vases - $9.95. The delivery fee has increased by $1.00
YOUTH CHOIR REHEARSAL - Sunday, September 7 at 5:30 PM in St. Paul's Choir Room. Anyone 6th through 12th grade is welcome to join. Any questions, please contact Carolyn Brown (410-795-0940 or browncla@comcast.net).

UPCOMING BIBLE STUDIES - DISCIPLE ONE - Orientation: 4 September at 7:00 PM in Room 202/204. Class begins 11 September for 34 weeks. A sign-up sheet is located on the narthex table.

150TH ANNIVERSARY - Mt. Olive UMC, Randallstown, MD will celebrate 150 years of ministry. Information is located on the narthex table.

SUNDAY SCHOOL REGISTRATION - Sunday School begins next Sunday, September 7. - Registration: 4 year olds through 4th grade - Sunday School Basement; 5th grade through high school - Social Hall.
SUNDAY SCHOOL 2008/2009 - St. Paul's Sunday School will need one teacher for the 2008/2009 year: 7th and 8th grade boys. Please prayerfully consider if this is where God is leading you. For more information, contact Rachel Fetterman (410-552-5888) or Jean Luebke (410-795-0599).

ST. PAUL's SOUND SYSTEM - Testing!!… One!!… Two!!… Anyone interested in learning how to use St. Paul’s sound system, please contact Chuck Childress at 410-795-8175.
CHURCH LIGHTS - When using the Church facilities, PLEASE be mindful of the increase in electric rates by making sure ALL LIGHTS are turned OFF before you leave. THIS INCLUDES ALL RESTROOMS. We want to be good stewards of what God has given us. Thank you!
"FEED MY SHEEP" SOUP KITCHEN - Is a soup kitchen ministry served out of Wesley Freedom U.M. Church. New members are always welcome to join our team as we serve meals to the less fortunate. If you require further information, please contact Pippa Cowan at 410-549-3216.
