SEPTEMBER MISSIONS PROJECT - Domestic Violence Safe House - Providing shelter for victims of domestic abuse and assistance in putting their lives back together. Items urgently needed are:

• Cleaning Supplies, Especially Chlorine Wipes
• Personal Care/Hygiene Items
• Paper Towels/Bath Tissue
• Diapers, Especially 3's, 4's and 5's
• Baby Items (Wipes, Diaper Rash Cream, Teething Products).

NEW MEMBER SUNDAY - On Sunday, 12 September, St. Paul's will receive new members into our church family. If you are interested, please indicate your desire to become a member on the attendance sheet with your name, address and phone number, or contact the church office.

SUNDAY SCHOOL 2010-2011 - Praise God -- all our Sunday School teacher positions are filled except for one -- 3rd grade! Please prayerfully consider if the Lord would have you fill this position on a 'rotating' basis. If you would like to participate in this important ministry, please contact Rachel Fetterman (410-552-0306) OR Jean Luebke (410-795-0599).

BOSCOV'S CHARITY DAY - 5 OCTOBER - 'Friends Helping Friends' is a day to enjoy shopping, refreshments, door prizes, and save 25% on many items at Boscov's. Tickets can be purchased from the U.M. Women for $5.00 each. 100% of the ticket price supports the U.M.W. missions projects. Tickets can be purchased on Sundays OR contact Judy Creutzer (410-781-0232).

EAGLE PROJECT - Chris Scheller is raising money to build a garden/seating area (leaving the doors of the Sunday School building to the back parking lot (south corner of the church)). A 6x9 engraved brick for $70 or a bench for $150 may be purchased for a family name, in memory of, in honor of, etc. For questions or to participate, please contact Chris at 410-781-6469. YOUTH CHOIR REHEARSALS - Begin next Sunday, September 12 at 5:30 PM in the Sanctuary. Anyone 6th through 12th grade is invited to join. Please contact Carolyn Brown at 410-795-0940 or browncla@comcast.net with any questions.

CHOIR - Choir rehearsal will resume on Wednesday, 8 September. Robe assignment - 7:15 PM till 7:30 PM. Brief fellowship in the Cry Room with rehearsal to follow - 7:30 till 7:45 PM. Hope to see everyone there!

ANGEL CHOIR - Rehearsals will begin on Sunday, September 12 in the Sunday School basement from 10:00 AM - 10:40 AM. The Angel Choir welcomes all singers from grades 2nd through 5th and is under the direction of Yung-Soon Naill (410-552-1092).

CHERUB CHOIR - Rehearsals will begin on Sunday, September 19 in the 2nd Grade Sunday School room on the top floor of the Sunday School building. The choir rehearses from 10:20 AM - 10:40 AM. The Cherub Choir welcomes all singers ages 4 through 1st grade and is under the direction of Kim Pyles (410-549-1050).

UPCOMING BIBLE STUDIES - The following Bible Studies are starting in the near future. Sign-up sheets are located on the narthex table.

BISHOP'S LAITY DAY APART - Join Bishop John Schol and your fellow laity from throughout the Baltimore Washington Conference for a day of fun and fellowship on Saturday, 25 September, 2010 from 9:30 AM till 3:00 PM at Turf Valley. FLOWER REQUESTS- Requests for flowers to be placed on the altar are no longer being accepted. Anyone wishing to order flowers in honor or memory of a loved one, or celebration of a special occasion, please see the flower chart. Flowers will be placed on the piano or organ sides of the sanctuary only. Fliers indicating flower order procedures are located on the table by the flower chart. ACOLYTES - If you are nine years of age or older and would like to become part of St. Paul's Acolyte Team, please contact Miss Dottie or Mr. Urban at 552-9440.

RIBBON SCRAPS - Are being collected to support the Arc of Carroll County. Any ribbon scraps you would like to contribute may be placed in the 'Magazine' box underneath the narthex table. Thanks for your support!

MAGAZINES NEEDED - Magazines are needed for Carroll Hospital Center patients. If you would like to donate magazines for this cause, please drop them in the box in the church foyer or in the box under the narthex table. Thanks for your support!

ADVERTISING -Please note that no fliers, brochures, posters, or other forms of advertisements of any kind will be displayed on church property without prior approval by Pastor Bud. Thank you!

NURSERY HELPERS - Nursery helpers are needed to care for our little ones during worship service. If you can assist in some small way, please contact Brandy Hagen (410-795-9767) or Karen Creutzer (410-781-0134).

CHURCH LIGHTS - When using the Church facilities, PLEASE be mindful of the increase in electric rates by making sure ALL LIGHTS are turned OFF before you leave. THIS INCLUDES ALL RESTROOMS. We want to be good stewards of what God has given us. Thank you!

'FEED MY SHEEP' SOUP KITCHEN - Teenagers can earn service-learning hours by helping out at the 'Feed My Sheep' Soup Kitchen at Wesley Freedom UMC. A sign-up sheet is located in the narthex. Any questions, please contact Pippa Cowan at 410-549-3216.
