BIBLE STUDIES Here's a list of the upcoming bible studies:

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN'S MEETING - The next UMW meeting will be held on Sunday, 12 February, after our worship service in the Education Building basement. We will work on the P.A.D.'s Project; donations of new underwear (teenage girl sizes) can be dropped off at the meeting. A light lunch will be served.

NEW MEMBER SUNDAY - If you are interested in joining St. Paul's, please notify the church office with your contact information. Thank you!

AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE - The American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive on Monday, 6 February from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freedom Optimist Community Center (6315 Sykesville Road). Please call 800-733-2767 to schedule an appointment.

RUTH GOSNELL EDUCATION FUND - The Ruth Gosnell Education Fund is directed by the Springfield Presbyterian Church. This fund offers interest free loans to full-time college, juniors, seniors, and graduate students for the 2012/2013 academic year. Repayment of the interest free loan does not start until 6 months after graduation. Regardless of religion, applicants will receive impartial consideration. Download the RGEF Application Form C at http://www.springfield-church.org or call the church at 410-795-6152. Applications must be received by 1 March, 2012. No e-mail application will be accepted.

HOLY LAND TRIP - Open slots are available for a trip to the Holy Land from 8-17 May; hosted by Pastors Bill and Linda Allport Warehime, and Pastor Sarah Dorrence. The brochure/application can be found at the bhumc.org website. If interested, please contact Linda Warehime at 301-639-4966 or lindawarehime@myactv.net ASAP. The trip cost will increase after 1/24/2012.

PET MINISTRY - The pets ate it all! So many people need help keeping their cats and dogs; it's time to replenish our supplies. Dry cat and dog food, puppy chow, and kitty litter you donate may be dropped off on the bench outside the church office. Thank you!

LIBRARY - With the busyness of the Christmas season behind us, now is a great time to relax with a good movie or to catch up on some reading. Our library is full of wonderful books and movies for your enjoyment.

FLOWER CHART - The 2012 flower chart (next to elevator/ sanctuary level) is available to sign up for the organ or piano for special occasions. Ordering instructions are attached to the flower chart. Thank you!

HELPING HANDS MISSION - Please contact Melissa Moore (410-549-5265 or Mrsmaloo@aol.com) if you are interested in joining/learning about this ministry, if you would like to receive her e-mails, or if you know of someone who may need assistance (but may be reluctant to ask for help).

WIRED WORD - Our new Sykesville Parish Online Bible Study is getting its legs and ready for you to participate. Designed for busy adults, the content of this online Wired Word Bible Study is based on current events. Hosted by Buzz Baker with Pastor Bud participating, we examine current issues in light of the Scripture and our Christian Faith. To begin, click on this link WIRED WORD or enter 'http://grnmd.com/WiredWord/' into your Web browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc). Each week's lesson is an independent study, so members of the study group can participate as they are able. Interested, but want more information? Contact Buzz Baker at alvabaker@aol.com or 443.609.3089!

CHURCH FACILITIES - If you have a concern for one of the Trustee's, please contact the church office. We will advise you when the concern is addressed. Thank you!

ACOLYTES - If you are nine years of age or older and would like to become part of St. Paul's Acolyte Team, please contact Miss Dottie or Mr. Urban at 552-9440.

CHURCH LIGHTS - When using the Church facilities, PLEASE be mindful of the increase in electric rates by making sure ALL LIGHTS are turned OFF before you leave. THIS INCLUDES ALL RESTROOMS. We want to be good stewards of what God has given us. Thank you!
